Description

In this particular intricate design,  the technique closing the slit is used. Where the weft strands/horizontal threads and wrapped around the counted warp strands/vertical threads, which results in the separation of the colors and pattern, and make it possible to use both sides of the flat weave kilim. This kilim is produced by the Maimana Tribe near the Chai Khana town of Afghanistan.
