Mushwani Rugs are unique because they combine the kilim and rug pile together in their rugs. Every feel pile carpet is basically based on the Kilim structure, the warp/vertical and weft/horizontal strands makes a base, and then by knotting in between them we get the feel pile rug.
This region’s references can be seen in Baburnama of Zaheer Udin Babur of the 16th Century, the rugs are light weight easy to carry, but not weak for day to day use.
