Afghani Tribal Balouch Rug
These rugs are usually made with cotton as the base, and wool for the main pile. The patterns are combination of symbols, these symbols
represent protection and a properous life. The pattern history is centuries old. Like Hamadan carpets, these carpets are also
appreciated because of its colorful geomatric designs, and these designs are learnt by heart in form of songs or ryhmes.
The knotting for these carpets are between 150-200 knots per square inch and very durable for day to day use.
