This kilim is the finest flat weaved kilims we can find from the Afghanistan and Pakistan Border. Chobi is named after the person, who redefined the rugs and kilim weaving in Afghanistan. These kilims are appreciated for its strength and colorful diagonal motifs.
The nomadic life of the tribes was eventually curtailed on their wide-ranging grazing lands. Which eventually resulted in various shades in wool and simple dye colours. This combination of two colours being one of them.
Simple geometric patterns of diamonds and triangles are often repeated with brown woll warps and beige wefts.
