Description

Like many carpets, this carpet got his name after its city. The pattern has the geomatrical shape of the Gul Flower, the famous Flower of Cure. Named after King Gul E Abbas of the 16th century, King Abbas re-introduced the carpet market to Europe and to the world in the Renaissance era. The beauty of these carpets is the fading natural red colors, which mostly come from local plant matter and from pomegranate skin.
