This an example of a Kashmiri single knot carpet, it is a rare design which is made in Srinagar, in the last 3 decades.
Kashmir has earn a well reputation in fine quality silk carpets. Their durability and long lasting quality is their specialty.
Its material is a combination of natural and chrome dyes like the Persian Qums, they also give different color shades from different angles.
The knotting is a fine quality, between 250-400 knots per square inch.
